The Arc cafe has become an integral part of the St Mary Redcliffe community since opening in July 2012.
The cafe works in partnership with St Mary Redcliffe Church to provide training and work opportunities for adults in recovery from drug and alcohol addiction.
We have close links with Bristol City College who provide our customer service training and supports three volunteers with their apprenticeships.
Our popular home cooked food is made using 40% of our food budget from Fareshare, who supply charities and organisations that support those in need with food donated from supermarkets and other suppliers.
We have forged strong links with the local community with around 70% of our custom being from local office workers and the residents of Redcliffe itself.
The cafe has recently started working with St Mary Redcliffe sixth form college giving the students them opportunities to volunteer in the cafe and assist us with our marketing strategy.
Using quality local suppliers is part of our ethos with our coffee coming from independent Bristol coffee roaster Brian Wogan and our bread is supplied by artisan bakers Herbert's Bakery of Montpelier.
